Terms of use
YAKUN is a survival game set in Alaska in the 1850s. This website and its accounts are in preview: you can make an account, set up your profile and settings, find friends and send messages now, and the game itself opens later. These terms are the rules for using the website and your account.
Your account
- An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Your display name is shown to other players and on the public leaderboard. Pick one that keeps to the code of conduct below.
- Give an email address you can read. Resetting a password by email is not available yet, so keep your password somewhere safe.
The preview
While YAKUN is being made, pages and features change, and some do not work yet. Ranks, round results and inventories fill in once the game reports them to this website. Creating an account needs the preview password for now.
Code of conduct
- Be decent to other players, in messages, names and in the game.
- No cheating: no hacks, bots, modified game files or deliberate use of bugs to get ahead.
- No harassment: no insults, threats, hate, spam or unwanted messages after someone asks you to stop.
- Do not pretend to be another player or a member of the YAKUN team.
- Accounts that break these rules can be suspended or removed.
Deleting your account
Accounts can be deleted on request. Deleting removes the account and everything it keeps (see the privacy policy).
Changes
When these terms change, the date below changes with them.
Last changed on 5 November 2026.
